Ok, as I'm sneakally swiping some cumputer time at work, and my brain is doing a hundred things at once (one of them not being concentrating on good spelling ), I'm going to put up a rumer on the CoH forums about a Last Word gig date. And this little bit here can be used for gig listage!

I think the first gig should be in Pocket D, but it would be good to have a mini tour of the city. Try and get some names of clubs from missions etc. I have one to clear out a club in KR of thugs, so I'll get the name from the mission description. There's also the Dirty Duck pubs in a few zones, we could even play the Superlanes bowling alley, the three university campuses and even an open air gig in Perez Park.
If we have each gig on a Friday, we can have aftershow parties in Pocket D.

A good plan, I'll keep a lookout for any mission-related clubs & venues. I'm not sure whether I'll be able to make this friday's afterparty (very busy weekend ), but I could always use the 'tension' between Lance and Dee during the concert as a reason for him not being there.

I like the tour idea. But I'm not sure about the Perez Park gig though. Perez is a trial zone flooded by monsters and gangers. Wont attract many "normal" fans!

Well, well, yes! I think that a good indication of gig reception for any given area should be the old police scanner. Once we get no more jobs, it should be safe to say that the bad is well known enough to fill up any venue there

It's full of Skulls and Hellions, they are The Last Word's normal fans But maybe Atlas Park would be better. Maybe Suzi White would join us as a special guest one night too, that would be cool.

Ok, the club in my mission is called The Portal. It is a "metaclub" in a former warehouse in King's Row.
The Super Lanes bowling alley is in Skyway.
Have we decided where the Comet Club is? I'm guessing Galaxy City because of the space themed name.

I was thinking that perhaps the last word might even play at Brit and Suzi's wedding. Its not exacty Brit's sort of music, but Suzi has a multitude of musical tastes, so she might go for it. Only thing is most of the band members will also have other characters who are likely to be invited too, so it will involve a bit of toon swapping.

Of course all this is dependent on Ammon returning in the first place, any one heard when thats likely?

To play at your wedding would be an honor!

Yeah, it would be great for The Last Word to play at the wedding. They could cover Billy Idol's White Wedding (He's British you know) and Dee is working on a song called Throw Your Life Away which she'd like to premiere on the big day. Also Dee and Des have a disgustingly offensive version of My Heart Will Go On, but that might be one step too far.
Do we have an agreed upon reason for Suzi's absence. I'm going on the assumption that she is lying low due to her ability to attract death threats.

Miss Teen would hope she was invited too, so I'll be joining the alting people. I doubt Bast would go.

That's what I've assumed anyway.

Marina still has little to no idea that Brit and Suzi are engaged, let alone got a date set. Plus, after recent events, she and Brit havn't exactly got along too well. I've got a number of alts that both have met, but probably not know to a degree to invite to a wedding. Which leaves Alice..
