Breif Info: Hi, I'm Alice, the drummer in the Last Word. What? Yes, I am naturally blue, and yes, I've heard that joke a zillion times. It's really cool being part of a band like the Last Word because we're a real mish-mash of people, and can all get along! I mean, look at me! I woke up five years ago with a killer mustache that refused to go away and, by the end of that first week was spitting furballs. Add to that I can make stuff real cool, and that my voice can shatter glass and make dogs howl, and hey. You'd think my chances of making friends would be zippo, right? Well, that's what's so cool about the Last Word! Dee Dee's got her magic guitar, I'm not sure what the heck Des does, and Lance has got an encyclopedic knowledge of really bad jokes. It's just brilliant!

Hi! I'm Des and I'm the lead vocalist of this band. That means I can sing. And I do mean SING. With all capital letters.
My voice is my grea-*test*-('") asset. (The rest of me is quite fantastic as well though!)
I can do almost anything with it. Mimic voices and dialects perfectly, shatter bricks and bones, make angels weep. You name it.

The "Last Word" is more than just a band. It's my family. Mum and dad doesn't count anymore. They had their shot and blew it. Screw 'em.
Dee Dee is the one I care about now. She understands. And Alice is cool as well.
But Lance? He's kind but kinda dorky.

Anyway... See you around!

Howdy. The name's Lance, Lance Simmons. I'm the Lead guitarist for last word and damn proud of it- It looks like we're on the up. Apart from being a guitar god. I'm also a telepath, I woke up one morning years ago and found I could hear people's throughts. Eventually I learned to turn that off, coz' it was annoying as hell, and now I can do all this crazy stuff with my mind. Oh, I'm also an empath.

As for the band..well, they're not a bad bunch o' girls. As long as I keep my distance from Dee we should get along fine.

I guess I'll see you all at the gig. Peace!

Hey, I’m Dee, and at 22 I seem to be the old lady of the group. I’ve crammed a lot of life experience into these last few years, which I guess is why I’m the Last Word’s resident songwriter. I play bass too. And I play it damn well. Say what you like about me being wasted on stage, but the day I play a wrong note that sounds worse than the right note is the day I leave the band.

I’m not really into the fame and fortune bullshit. If it comes, it comes. But for me I just love being in a band. I love the life. This band’s become like a family to me, which I guess is why I can become a little heated when it looks like certain people are going to fuck it up. I guess the AC/DC song Ain’t No Fun (Waiting Around to be a Millionaire) better sums up my feelings on being in a band.

One of the best things about this band is finding a sister in Des. A sister with benefits, which can’t be bad. There’s nothing I like better than staying up all night with her trying out my la-*test*-('") lyrics or riff. And for those who knock on our door asking us to keep it down at 4am - you’re in a fucking rock band - deal with it!

So, yeah, previous bands I’ve been in our pretty varied. I formed my first band in high school, the all-girl punk trio Toxic Shock Syndrome. But the other girls wanted to go to college, get jobs and have families, so I just drifted from one band to another. Yes, I was in the emocore band Dead Birthday Clown for a while, and the last band I was in was the goth group Hex Addiction, but I’d rather not talk about that.

You’ve probably heard me playing bass or guitar without realising it. For the last few years I’ve been concentrating on developing as a musician. To pay the bills, I worked as a session musician. I guess the stuff you would have heard was on the Gothic Overtone’s last album. That was a killer album, it would've been with or without me, and I hope to work with the guys and Suzi again.

Oh yeah, and for the record, Lance is a jerk.
