Well i finally found this place.

I am Florence Gale, better know as White Nightingale these days, I am a member of the Watchmen.

I have been around for a while.... hehe on Union most peeps know me as Lightnia Co- Leader of the Night Watch, Scarr or Healos.
On Defiant i have a few alts too.

I am from Geordie Land, I bought the game originally for my son but hehe got hooked.

Coile- 06-14-2007
Hey. Coile here. Not a member of Hyperion Watchmen but that's just due to me being able to tell one story at a time. I can use multiple characters for it but I need the focus. Coile the baldheaded guy is the leader of Silent Tempest with a mixed reputation - just read the papers. I on the other hand am from the far, frozen North where Father Christmases roam

Now, for no other reason than me liking the smiley: ph34r.gif

And if anyone takes a look at what it says on Coile's public file over at Freedom Corp:

Coile
Real name: Andre Kraft
Date of birth: 2.8.1986
Identity: Not secret
Legal status: Citizen of USA with no criminal record
Place of birth: Andros City county, North Dakota
Marital status: Widowed
Known relatives: Andrea Kraft (sister, deceased), Zirgei Kraft (father, deceased), ND-x (registered maternal unit, no information on biological mother), Melanie Kraft (wife, deceased)
Base of operations: Silent Tempest HQ
Current address: An apartment in Atlas Park, other residents: Nigel, Jane and Diana Bright
Group affiliation: Silent Tempest
Position and rank: Leader
Powers and training: No registered powers. A recent brain damage removed the capability of channeling energies.
Contact information: Phone number is listed and can be acquired by any hero.
Occupation: Hero Corps employee, counseling & information acquisition

And there's some creative work about Coile as well.

Fiction: (please note: some stories contain material that is not suitable for all)

Welcome Coile,

As many will remember, Coile put out a lot of the ideas that were incorporated into our origin, including it starting at a hospital with a dying hero.

On this forum you can read pretty much how the story progressed (is progressing), but make sure you select to see posts from "the beginning" so you can see everything.

Perhaps we can come up with a way of the Watchmen and Silent Tempest forming a coalition.

Hello there - just thought I'd register and post, even though I'm not really a Watchman - although apparently at some point in the future one of my villains may end up meeting you wink.gif

I have a stupid number of characters that I play at any one time, but the most common ones are Wynter, Midnight Star, Crimson Gale, and Abyssa - I've known several members of the Watchmen for quite some time, and have just come back after a looooong break from the game wink.gif

Out in the real world, I'm a 28 year-old biomedical scientist who lives in manchester wink.gif

See you all im game soon wink.gif

Major Vasalisa- 09-09-2007
Hello. Been on the prowl for a good roleplaying SG for a while, and this one seems to fit, after a brief talk with Dr Furnace and a look around the forum.
The backstory for my character hasn't been made for this storyline, but I think can be adapted with minor tweaking and plot devices, since I actually like it. Very cliché, and I love that, hehe.
Basically she was a super hero on the other side of the Iron Curtain during the cold war, working for Mother Russia. Little romance with an american hero came in the way, and she fled from the USSR, hiding in the US. Bad luck, the Russians found her, lover got killed, and she fell into a vat of liquid nitrogen while trying to escape. Thought to be dead, she wound up forgotten in a cave, her body kept from the inevitable destruction from the extreme cold by her mutant powers. Until recently as she was discovered and freed from her prison, cripled powers-wise, but recovering them gently.

That's it in a few words. Now I guess she could have been in that hospital where Hyperion when poof, waking up from her long sleep. Or the explosion could have defrosted her microwave oven style... Being that she has her past life way behind her, I could imagine she'd join the Watchmen.

If anybody think it's bullshit and/or have better ideas, I'm all ears.

(on the other characters side, I have a scrapper of much higher level, Lady Alba, magic, though, demon and all. Hard to fit in. And a villain, and that's pretty much it. I'd say the Major's my main, even if the two others are higher. She's the most fun to play tongue.gif. And on the whereabouts thing, I'm based in Belgium.)

Cheers, have a nice day.

Welcome, both of you!

It's always nice to have someone frop by and say "Hi" Shadowfane, and even nicer if the Watchmen may end up meeting them! Yay! laugh.gif Although I personally don't recall meeting any of your characters, I have been known to have memory slips from time to time that result in forgetting what i've done/said/intended to do...

And Major! Good to see another character with the potential of joinging our merry little band! biggrin.gif More and more survivors of the "Riviera Incident" are popping up all the while, and it's not too hard to write someone new into the story. I do like your background and, thankfully, I don't think any of the Watchmen would be outrightly hostile toward a Russian ex-super joining the ranks. Except Moonfire, but he's dead now, so theoretically, we are in the clear tongue.gif

Well, that's all from me, folks! Enjoy your stay!

Toodles!

QUOTE (Major Vasalisa @ September 09, 2007 11:16 pm)
her body kept from the inevitable destruction from the extreme cold by her mutant powers.

The only problem I can see with Major Vasalisa is that the unique 'quirk' of the Hyperion Watchmen is their shared origin. They are all Science origin and in your text I noted a reference to the Major being a mutant?

It would be a shame to throw away one of the truly unique aspects of the Watchmen at this stage (the shared Origin). Perhaps it would be best to start a new character for it? There are a few other people who have recently expressed an interest, so I believe there's a kind of sub-group of 'junior' Watchmen possible at this time anyway with whom it should be possible to team and catch up some levels.

Romanov- 09-13-2007
As Ammon said, although we've not made it a definite requirement it is pretty much implied that members have a shared origin as all the stories come out of this fact.

The main problem though is, as you've posted eleswhere, you would be unable to team with us on Wednesday nights. I imagine that just being in the group and contributing on the forum won't be enough for you as most of the Watchmen action takes place in game.

It might be best to meet up with us in game an discuss what we can sort out. Im going to be busy for the next few nights but I'll send you a tell soon.

Boneblade- 10-17-2007
((Bonjour!

I'm Boneblade, spines/regen scrapper and your average nubcaek. I'm an utter newb, contrary to my vet rewards. It was originally my brother's account.

On the IC front I'm Ricardo Martinez, a latino-american bloke who was in the Skulls, suffered from bone marrow cancer and was hospitalised in Rivera after being shot in the stomach in a gang war against the Hellions. As luck would have it Hyperion Star went poof the night he was shot. His bone illness was cured and his stomach wound regenerated overnight.

It wasn't until he was serving a year and a half in the Zig thanks to his time in the Skulls that he realised that under emotional stress, random spikes of bone would pop out and rip his skin open from the inside. When he calmed down again they'd sink back in and the wounds would heal. Now he's out of the Zig, prancing about in a regenerative-fibre costume. And he's addicted to painkillers, 'cause, y'know, your bones launching out from the inside hurts.

In front of the moniter in a small, dark room sits a 15-year old high school student in Liverpool balancing coursework with other things.

Hope my porcupine fits in with this merry band of misfits.

And that's the biznezz frum meh. Au revoir.

Cool! Another Ex-Skull! He and Marina should get on real well 8D

Romanov- 10-29-2007
Hey Boneblade.

You're character seems good and you've read up on the concept, which is cool.
This group meets on Wednesday evenings so to get the most out of being a member you should be able to make it online some weeks to join us.
We're taking a break this week because of the Hell Night rp event, which might be a good opportunity for you to meet other Watchmen and ropleplayers.
